Area of production

Selected vineyards situated in the hills of the Classico area in the northern part of Verona.


50% Corvina Veronese
30% Corvinone
15% Rondinella
5% Cabernet

The carefully selected grapes are put in small crates and dried in ventilated rooms for about 4-5 month. They are then pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The extremely slow fermentation lasts until late spring giving the wine a pleasant sweetness. It is then refined in large oak casks for 6months.

Soil composition

Clay, calcareous.


Lush, dark ruby red; its bouquet shows fine cherry and blackberry jam aromas against a subtle vanilla background; on the palate it offers ample black cherry flavours supported by sweet tannins.

All desserts, almond cakes, pastafrolla and biscotti.
