From the heart of Friuli, wines naturally.
Set among the hillside vineyards of Coloredo di Monte Albano, in the heart of Friuli, Mont’Albano is one of the most prestigious wineries in the Friuli Grave DOC zone. Since 1985, its founder, Mauro Braidot, has made producing organic wines both a mission and a way of life, seeing in this type of agriculture the key to express the winemaking identity of the region distinguished by respect for bio diversity and the wellbeing of the consumer.

Identifying themselves with organic agriculture and seizing its commercial potential, which has already proven successful at the Colognola winery with some classic Veronese varieties, the Sartori family acquired Mont’Albano in the spring of 2008, and it is now one of Sartori di Verona’s shining stars.

The philosophy of respect
“Earth to produce and time to prepare” is the philosophy of Mont’Albano. Faithful to the methods of organic agriculture, which prohibits the use of chemical and synthetic products, the company has separated its vineyards from others in order to avoid any possible contamination with pesticides and herbicides. In this way, the best grapes, carefully selected, retain their natural properties and aromas and become natural, wholesome wines of fine quality. An uncommon passion for taste and authenticity reflects respect for the earth, for its timing, and its hidden treasures. A heritage of tastes and understanding that acquires value vintage after vintage.
Genuine, even with the label
“Organic” for Mont’ Albano is not a just a word, but a way of life and a discipline. All the grapes produced from organic farming and used in the cellar are duly certified by the inspection agencies accredited by the Italian Ministry. As a further guarantee to the consumer, Mont’ Albano operates throughout the production cycle with strict quality specifications that certify the organic reliability of its wines, so that good wine is always synonymous with healthy wine. In line with the orientation towards the eco-sustainable development of the land and its most prized fruit, Mont’ Albano does not stop at good practices in the vineyard; it champions them throughout the production cycle and beyond. For example, bottles are made of lighter-weight glass, while labels are printed on recycled paper with environmentally friendly inks. Small strategies that may not affect the wine, yet ones that protect a heritage more solid and more fragile at the same time: Mother Earth.
